Okemah Emergency Management Director Tom Dennis recently completed a comprehensive training in disaster operations leading to special recognition by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). He was presented with FEMA’s Advanced Professional Development Series Certificate by Okemah Mayor Luna Burnett at Monday nights City Council meeting.
