David “Jeff” Jeffrey Parker
Funeral services for David “Jeff” Jeffrey Parker will be held Friday, December 7, 2018 at 10:00 AM at the First Baptist Church of Wetumka with Bro. Donnie Nero officiating.
David “Jeff” Jeffrey Parker was born June 17, 1965 in Longview, Washington to David Nin Parker and Carolyn (Richmond) Parker. He passed away Tuesday, December 4, 2018 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 53.
Jeff was a longtime resident of the Wetumka area and a 1983 graduate of Wetumka High School. He and Rhonda Banta were married June 28, 1985 in Wetumka. Jeff worked as pipe liner all of his life and was a member of the Weleetka Church of Christ. He enjoyed metal detecting, fishing, hunting and hunting mushrooms. He will be dearly missed.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Nin and Maggie Parker and Maynard and Nina Richmond and his mother in law, Donna Malone.
Survivors include his wife, Rhonda Parker of the home in Wetumka; his parents, David Nin Parker and Carolyn (Richmond) Parker of Wetumka; two sons, David Jonathon Parker and wife Randi of Wetumka and Joshua James Parker and wife, Mariah of Wetumka; one daughter, Dana Lewis of Holdenville, Oklahoma; brother, John Parker and wife Brandie of Wetumka; brother in law, Jeff Banta and wife Tammy of Choctaw, Oklahoma; father in law, Milton Banta and wife Joyce of Weleetka; four grandchildren, Annebel Parker and Graycn Parker of Wetumka and Joe Lewis and Jason Lewis of Sasakwa, Oklahoma and a host of nieces and nephews.
Serving as active pallbearers will be Richard Parker, Jacob Parker, Ethan Parker, Lindsey Maas, James Richmond and Larry Richmond.
Honorary pallbearers include Eddie Williams, Ray Fannin, Danny McPhetridge, Richard Sexton, Ethan Moore, Joel Milor, Ronnie Whitetree, Marsey Scott and Bruce Sutterfield.
Services will be under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Home of Okemah, Oklahoma.
Viewing and visitation will be Thursday, 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM at the Parks Brothers Funeral Home. Family will be present to greet friends, 6:00 – 8:00 PM also at the funeral home in Okemah.
