Brenda Lee Jones

Brenda Lee Jones was born October 5, 1940 in Okemah, Oklahoma to J.T. and Ethel (Ballinger) Kendrick. She passed away Wednesday, April 17, 2019 at
her home in Okemah at the age of 78.

Brenda Lee Jones, resident of Okemah; was a 1960 graduate of Pharoah High School and resided in Henryetta until the late 60s. She then lived in
Arkansas and Ohio before returning to the Okemah area in 1979. She and Roy B. Jones were married March 26, 1960 in Pharoah, Oklahoma; he later preceded her in death in 2003. Brenda worked many clerical jobs including at the Okemah Public Library, the Okfuskee County Courthouse and also with Eastern Wells Service.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one sister, Janet Kampman and one son, Joe Jones.

Survivors include her son, Jimmy Alan Jones of Altus, Oklahoma; one brother, J.T. “Sonny” Kendrick and wife Judy of Okemah; Uncle, Russell Jones of Fort Worth, Texas; aunt, Rhonda Jones of Okemah and three grandchildren, Daniel Gregory Jones, Hunter Jones and Raven Jones.

Serving as active pallbearers will be Dink Witham, Max Cline, Larry Rogers, Ronnie Fitzpatrick; Daniel Jones and Gregory Jones.

Services will be under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Home, Okemah, Oklahoma and officiated by Chaplain Robert Foos.
