Memorial services for Danny Lee Powell will be held Friday, October 23, 2020 at 1:00 PM at the First Baptist Church in Henryetta.

Danny Lee Powell of Henryetta, Oklahoma passed from this life on Saturday, October 17, 2020 at the age of 64 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was born in Okmulgee, Oklahoma on July 29, 1956 to Charles Powell and Juanita (Swinford) Powell.

Danny was an Okmulgee High School graduate and attended college at Oklahoma State University. Danny was President and CEO of Powell Cable for many years in Dallas and Ft. Worth area. He also worked and enjoyed much of his time being a night watchman at Lake Lewisville, Pier 121 in Lewisville, Texas. He loved his dogs, camping at the ocean, fishing, and especially the Dallas Cowboys. Danny loved his family very much and loved being at family cookouts and gatherings. He will be missed by so many.

He is preceded in death by his parents Charles and Juanita Powell, and nephew Jake Westmoreland.

He is survived by his wife Glinda Riddle of Henryetta, OK., one daughter, Kristin Powell and significant other Levi Guest of Oilton, OK., two sons, Blake Powell and wife Geena of Henryetta, OK. Jarod Powell and wife Niki of Henryetta, OK., two step- sons Tim Riddle of Olathe, KS., and Dakota Wilson and wife Leslie of Frisco, TX., two step- daughters, Amanda Riddle of Henryetta, OK., and Montana Wilson and significant other Tyree of Prosper, TX., four brothers, Charles Powell and wife Sue of Arkansas, David Powell and wife Lonnie of Missouri, Mike Powell of Oklahoma, and Rick Powell and wife Amy of California, three sisters, Debbie Galbraith late husband Earl of Oklahoma, Susie Westmoreland and late husband Roger of Louisiana, and Rene Wilson and husband Steve of Oklahoma. 13 grandchildren, Katelyn Renfro, Kobe Renfro, Shayden Riddle, Chloee Riddle, Lane Powell, Isaac Powell, Madison Renfro, Brookelyn Powell, Kendall Riddle, Malia Coleman, Ruger Powell, Stryker Powell, and Eivin Powell. Along with many nieces and nephews.

Services will be under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Home, Okemah, Oklahoma and officiated by Dale Huckabay.
