Evelyn Ruth Gregory was born December 18, 1945 in Okemah, Oklahoma to Grover Harrison and Mattie (Shumate) Harrison. She passed away Thursday, November 5, 2020 in Oklahoma City at the age of 74.
Evelyn grew up in the Okemah area and was a current resident of Newcastle, Oklahoma. She and Larry E. Gregory were married August 31, 1983 in Perryton, Texas. Evelyn was a loving homemaker and housewife. She enjoyed activities with her church, Midwest City Church of God; but most of all she loved her family and especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents; 6 brothers and 4 sisters.
Survivors include her husband, Larry E. Gregory of Newcastle; son, Robby Roberts of Oklahoma City; daughter, Jacquetta Wiedemann and Mike of Oklahoma City; two sisters, Shirley Hardin of Okemah and Lena Condict of Okemah; four grandchildren, Dusty Harris and Silver of Mustang, Chris Harris and Emily of Oklahoma City, Jessica Harris of Yukon and Taylor Wiedemann of Oklahoma City.
Services will be under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Home of Okemah, Oklahoma and officiated by Chris Shaffer and Charles Jones.
