Funeral service for Mary Lavern Henneha will be held Friday, March 14, 2025 at 2:00 PM at the High Spring Indian Baptist Church of Okemah. Interment will follow at the Holahta – Sands Family Cemetery west of Okemah. Wake services will be Thursday, 7:00 PM also at the High Spring Church.

Mary Lavern Henneha was born January 7, 1965 in Okfuskee County, Oklahoma to Ralph Henneha Jr. and Mary (Holahta) Henneha. She passed away Monday, March 10, 2025 at her home west of Okemah at the age of 60.

Mary was a resident of the Okemah area most all of her life having worked as a caregiver. She enjoyed eating, fishing and playing horseshoes. Mary also enjoyed sewing, going to family gatherings, hunting wild onions and watching her nieces and nephew play sports.

She is preceded in death by her parents; one son, Tony Gipson; one brother, Danny Henneha and one sister, Sheim Haddox.

Survivors include two sons, Wesley Gipson of Kansas City, Missouri and William Henneha of Enid, Oklahoma; two brothers, Norman Henneha and wife Angel of the home and Ernest Henneha and wife Jacquline of Wisconsin; two sisters, Debbie Henneha of Dustin and Bonnita Henneha of Henryetta; one granddaughter, Kiera Lewis and one aunt, Helen Franks of Okemah.

Serving as active pallbearers will be Raylen, Jaston, Daniel, Arron, Eldon and Jokobe Henneha.

Honorary bearers include Justin Yahola, Ethan Henneha, Ernest Henneha, Norman Henneha, Robert Looney and Keeian Henneha.

Services will be under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Home, Okemah, Oklahoma and officiated by Pastor Jesse Wind and Pastor Felix Frye.
