Alfred C. Haddox

Graveside services for Alfred C. Haddox will be held Monday, September 30, 2019 at 10:00 AM at the Morse Cemetery in Okemah, Oklahoma with full military honors.

Alfred Carl Haddox was born July 14, 1935 in Okemah, Oklahoma to William Alton Haddox and Waneta May (Gormly) Haddox. He passed away Wednesday, September 25, 2019 in Okemah, Oklahoma at the age of 84.

Alfred spent 20 years in the United States Air Force. He also worked several years with the Army Corps of Engineers and as a mechanic. After retirement he built a home on the farm in the Last Chance community. Alfred enjoyed fishing, hunting and attended school at Okfuskee, Nuyaka and Pharoah. He and Ronna Lee Morton were married August 14, 1961; she later preceded him in death in 2018.

Also preceding him in death were his parents; two brothers, Harvey Lee Haddox and Allen Ray Haddox; two sisters, Florence Marie McRae and Rita Faye Liles; nephew, Wendall Lee Baldridge, niece, Debbie Hargrove and baby niece, Debbie Haddox.

Survivors include his daughter, Kimberly Kay Grigsby and husband Greg of Wilmington, North Carolina; his brother, Charles Haddox and wife Anna of Okemah; sisters, Minnie Croft of Denison, Texas and Wanda Mae Baldridge of Okmulgee, Oklahoma and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Home, Okemah, Oklahoma and officiated by Rev. Raymond Doke.
