Graveside services for Ronald Ray Duncan will be Thursday, August 27, 2020 at 2:00 PM at the Highland Cemetery with Bro. Wade Harelson officiating.

Ronald Ray Duncan was born January 16, 1948 in Okemah, Oklahoma to Frank E. Duncan and Emma Lou (Foster) Duncan. He passed away Sunday, August 16, 2020 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 72.

Ronnie, as most people knew him, was a resident of the Okemah area all of his life and was a 1966 graduate of Okemah High School. He proudly served his country with the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War from 1969-70. On September 24, 1971, in Okemah, he married Lynne Daughtridge. Ronnie was the owner and operator of Duncan Tank Truck Company in Okemah since 1975. He enjoyed elk hunting, working his cattle and riding motorcycles. Most of all he truly loved his family and especially his grandchildren. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends who loved him.

He is survived by his wife, Lynne Duncan of the home; his son, Fletcher Duncan and wife April of Tulsa; two daughters, Leigh Anne Harelson and husband Trent of Okemah and Rachel Wyrick and husband Eddie of Atoka, Oklahoma; his sister, Cheryl Bartosh of Okemah and 12 grandchildren, Foster Duncan, Spencer Duncan, Xander Duncan, Esther Grace Duncan, Asher Duncan, Riley, Jacie and Abby Harelson, Michael Christian, Duncan Wyrick, Grant Wyrick and Hunter Wyrick.

Services will be under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Home.

There will be a memory box at the funeral home during viewing that the family would like for you to leave a memory or characteristic of Ronnie. Also, anyone who would like to attend the service; please practice social distancing and wear a mask.
