Funeral services for Calvin Bruce Fish. will be held Thursday, October 15, 2020 at 2:00 PM at the Parks Brothers Funeral Home Chapel in Okemah. Interment will follow at the Micawber Cemetery in Okfuskee County.

Calvin Bruce Fish of Okemah, Oklahoma passed from this life on Monday, October 12, 2020 at the age of 57. He was born in Bristow, Oklahoma on November 16, 1962 to Calvin Fish and Betty Louise Cheatwood.

He served in the National Guard for 4 years. He was a very skilled welder for 30 years. He worked in fabrication and design and was a stickler for perfection. Leland Scott was his inspiration and mentor over the many years he had welded. He liked spending time outdoors hunting and fishing. He loved spending time with his family and will be dearly missed by many.

He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Jim and Elizabeth Cheatwood, paternal grandparents, Frazier and Julia Fish, along with numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He is survived by mother, Betty Louise Fish of Okemah OK., one son, Kelly Bruce Fish of Lawton, Ok., one stepdaughter, Erica Mitchell and spouse Travis and their daughters Taber and Larissa Mitchell of Wagoner, Ok. and three sisters, Vickie Martin and husband Charles of Okemah, Ok., Janet Moore of Okemah, Ok., Laura Bright and husband John of Sand Springs, Ok., 5 nieces and nephews; Mandy Pickering and husband Trevor, Leslie Fish, Barry Bennett, Lacey Martin, and Spencer Bright and wife Nicole, 6 great nieces and nephews; Daphaine Martin, Kelcee Bennett, Bradley Pickering, Logun Bennett, Mason Bennett and Axton Pickering.

Serving as active pallbearers will be Donald Cheatwood, Randy Cheatwood, Barry Bennett, Logun Bennett, Ronnie Cheatwood, and Barry Bryant.

Services will be under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Home, Okemah, Oklahoma and officiated by Keith Cheatwood.

All in attendance will be required to wear a mask and to practice social distancing.
