Tommy Klutts, Jr. was born September 17, 1945 in Okemah, Oklahoma to Tommy and Mary Jo (McFadden) Klutts. He passed on May 10, 2024.

Tommy was proud to enlist in the Oklahoma Nation Guard at the age of seventeen. Tommy was able to fulfill his dream of becoming a helicopter pilot and went on to a long career in the military, finally retiring as Chief Warrant Officer 5. During his 40 plus years of service, Tommy received many awards and honors and was deployed around the world serving in the Special Forces in Central America and as a C12 pilot Ali Al Salim in Kuwait during the Iraq Conflict. Tommy transferred back to his roots in Oklahoma after being stationed in Pennsylvania for many years. Tommy was so proud of being an American Star Farmer Award recipient as a high school FFA student under the tenure of Mr. Ray Holman. It was at that time that Tommy developed his love of raising cattle. After the passing of his beloved parents, Tommy moved to the family farm and became a cattle rancher. Tommy often said there was nothing more beautiful than black cows on lush green grass. Above all, Tommy’s legacy was that he was a believer in Jesus Christ and shared his faith with family and friends.

Tommy was a unique individual who lived life to the fullest. Proud to have served with him in the Pennsylvania National Guard Army Aviation program for many years. Every day was spontaneous and exciting whenever Tommy was around. He will be missed by all who knew and served him.
