Drew Allen Johnson

Funeral Services for Drew Allen Johnson will be held Tuesday, May 28, 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Parks Brothers Funeral Home Chapel in Wetumka. Internment will follow at the Wetumka Cemetery.

Drew Allen Johnson was born September 25, 1947 in Wetumka, Oklahoma to Christine Harjo. He was raised by his aunt and uncle, Ruth and Bill Harjo. He passed away Thursday, May 23, 2024 at his home in Wetumka at the age of 76. Drew was a resident of Wetumka all of his life. He enjoyed fishing, playing pool, OU Football, and going to the casino.

On December 15, 1968 Drew married Mary Ellen (Logan) in Wetumka. To this union 4 children were born.

He is preceded in death by his mother, one son, Utah Johnson, 2 brothers, James (BB) Harjo and Benn Y. Harjo, and one sister, Mandy Harjo. He is also preceded in death by his aunt and uncle, Ruth and Bill Harjo.

Survivors include his wife of 55 years, two sons, Timmothy Logan and wife Dawn of Holdenville Oklahoma, Johnny Johnson of Wetumka, Oklahoma, one sister, Christina Meeks of Holdenville, Oklahoma, two brothers, Fankie Harjo of Salem Oklahoma and William (Sonny) Harjo of Dustin, Oklahoma, four sisters Karen Powell and husband Jerry of Weleetka, Oklahoma, Mary Wagner and husband Steve of Wetumka, Oklahoma, Anna Harjo of Okmulgee, Oklahoma, and Judy Harjo and husband Eddie of Henryetta, Oklahoma. Drew is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren.

Serving as pallbearers will be Levi Johnson, Andrew Johnson, Wyatt Caldwell, Jeremy Powell, Manuel Caballero, and Lyle Welle.

Honorary pallbearers will be William (Sonny) Harjo, James Tiger, Edwin Marshall, Tommy Joe Kennedy, and Leslie Banta.

Services will be officiated by Rev. Jeremy Fairres.
