A celebration of life service for Lacey Rachelle Collins were held Wednesday, November 20, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at the Parks Brothers Funeral Home Chapel in Okemah.
Lacey Rachelle Collins, Loving Daughter, and Granddaughter, Amazing Mother, Beloved Sister, Niece, Aunt, Cousin, and Cherished friend to many. Unexpectedly passed away on Saturday November 16, 2024, at the age of 38.
Lacey was born on April 6th, 1986 to Mark and Cindy Collins in Shawnee, Oklahoma, and was a life long resident of Paden. She was a 2004 Graduate of Prague High School. Lacey worked as a Manager of Courtesy Loans in Shawnee, Oklahoma and worked occasionally at Catfish Round Up on the weekends.
Lacey’s Daughter Laryah was her most treasured accomplishment. She devoted herself to being the best mother possible. Laryah was not only her pride and joy, but her best friend. They enjoyed and shared a love for many things together such as shopping, movies, taking trips to Branson to get tattoos, wearing matching pajamas, and just loved spending time together. Lacey enjoyed her gym time and working out, and she loved her pets. Lacey had a radiant spirit that matched perfectly with her infectious smile. Her laughter was contagious, and her heart was pure.
Lacey loved her family. She visited her Grandmother Betty regularly. She stopped each morning before going to work at her Mom and Dad’s. She spent Saturday mornings getting nutritional teas with her Aunt Deb. She always found the time to call her sister Mariah and grab a quick lunch if she could. Working with her brother allowed her to see him regularly. She had the best relationship with her sister-in-law Kenita, and when it came time for dinner, she would call her Aunt Chanda if she did not want what her momma was cooking. She was like a second Mom to Trustin, Zadden and Cody.
Lacey was loved not only by her family but also by the many friends she made in this life. She left us with many wonderful memories, and we will remember her for the vibrant person that she was.
