Leo Blackwood

Leo Blackwood was born February 12, 1930 in Claremore, Oklahoma to Roy and Clarcie Rue (Varnell) Blackwood. He passed away Wednesday, May 14, 2025 at his home in Okemah at the age of 95.

Leo was a resident of Okemah and enjoyed farming, mowing his lawn, welding and just staying busy.

He is preceded in death by his parents; four siblings, Robert Blackwood, Lloyd Blackwood and two infant twin brothers and one son, Larry Blackwood.

He is survived by one son, Tom Blackwood and wife Glenda of Tulsa; two daughters, Sharon Hill of Tulsa and Jana Farrell and husband Eddie of Okemah; special friend, Diane Laos of Okemah; 12 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

All arrangements were handled by Parks Brothers Funeral Home, Okemah, Oklahoma.
