Theodore Earnest Landers
Theodore “Ted” Landers was born to Roscoe and Ornest Landers (Smith) on October 4, 1945 in Okemah, Oklahoma. He passed away Saturday, May 3, 2025 in Bethany, Oklahoma at the age of 79.
He married Elois “Ann” Marshall in September of 1965. They have four children, Michael Landers of Oklahoma City, Mark Landers and wife Debbie of Oklahoma City, Lisa Hagood and husband Ron of Bethany and Tina Brumfield of Bethany.
Theodore was a lifetime resident of Bethany, Oklahoma. He worked many years for the City of Edmond until he retired, then it was fishing and grandchildren! He was blessed with seven grandchildren, Bradley Landers, Brandon Landers, Ronnie Hagood Jr. and Tara, Lacee Coutts and husband Christopher, Jeffrey Brumfield Jr., Gregory Brumfield and Kyle Brumfield. He also has ten great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews that he also loved.
He is survived by his siblings, Odella Brown of Okemah, Marvin Landers of Okemah, Daniel Landers of Okemah, Minnetta Baker and husband Gary of Henryetta, Hazel Rowan and husband Glen of Bristow and Mary Sue Landers of Del City.
He is preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Johnny, Melvin and Oscar Landers and one sister, Juanita Dodson.
He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Serving as pallbearers will be Mark Landers, Michael Landers, Ron Hagood, Ronnie Hagood Jr., Bradley Landers, Brandon Landers and Christopher Coutts.
Services will be under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Home, Okemah, Oklahoma.
