Robert Todd Ragsdale was born January 6, 1965 in Houston, Texas to Rodney Lloyd Ragsdale and June (Baker) Bynum. He passed away Monday, June 9, 2025 in Oklahoma City at the age of 60.
Todd grew up and resided in Pasadena, Texas before moving to Okemah in the early 80’s. He and Tammy Renee Tillery were married September 21, 1985 in Okemah. Todd worked as a carpenter for many years and had previously worked with the Okemah Water Plant. Todd was truly one of a jokester. He enjoyed playing guitar, riding his motorcycle, camping and fishing. Todd’s favorite thing, though, was to eat and drink his coffee! He was a man of God, having been a member of the Christian Temple Church of Okemah, and loved to spread God’s word to all. He will be dearly missed.
He is preceded in death by his father, Rodney Lloyd Ragsdale; stepfather, Clayton Bynum; father-in-law, Marvin Eugene Tillery Sr. and one sister, Rhonda Gayle Kinslow.
Survivors include wife, Tammy Ragsdale of the home, two sons, Anthony Todd Ragsdale and wife Laura of Okemah and Chandler Adam Ragsdale and wife Ashley of Prague; one daughter, Lesley Renae Weeks of Okemah; his mother, June Bynum of Okemah; one brother, David Ragsdale and wife Patricia of Springfield, Missouri; two sisters, Sherry Welt and husband Scott of Shawnee and Lori Smart and husband Ryan of Mason and nine grandchildren, Ian Ragsdale, Brayden Weeks, Elijah Spain, Landyn Ragsdale, Bryce Ragsdale, Brendyn Weeks, Kaylyn Ragsdale, Trentyn Ragsdale and Blayze Ray.
Active pallbearers will be Chandler Ragsdale, Anthony Ragsdale, David Ragsdale, Ian Ragsdale, Brayden Weeks and Kyle Rodgers.
Honorary bearers include Rodney Tillery, Marvin Tillery Jr., Steve Tillery, Larry Kinslow, Scott Welt and Ryan Smart.
Services will be under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Home, Okemah, Oklahoma.
