James Beasley invited to compete in Australia

James Beasley, Okemah High School Class of 2025, is the son of Nikki Pandora Frazier (Okemah0 and Corey Beasley.  He is the grandson of Kathy Ogden (Okemah), J. Arthur and I. Rose Frazier of Ocala, FL and Michael and Priscilla Beasley and the late Rhonda Crowe of Oklahoma.

James is the Oklahoma Class 2A State Track Champion in the 100 meter and the 200 meter.  He also came in second place for both the 100 meter and the 200 meter at the Oklahoma Meet of Champions, competing against Class A to Class 6A runners.

James has been chosen to run in the Coast2Coast International Track and Field Competition for Team USA in Australia this July.  He will compete in Australia then the team will visit Hawaii on the return trip for 2 days.

The cost of this trip is $6000, which must be paid by May 30.

An Indian Taco fundraiser will be held on Friday, May 24 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at  the Okemah High School.  Orders are for pick up or delivery only.  Cost is $10 each which includes dessert.  Preorders can be sent by text to Kathy Ogden at (918)759-8037.
